This home was completely redecorated by the interior designers and decorators from Decormyplace in Pune. The 2 BHK underwent a complete transformation, especially in terms of colour scheme and furnishings.  The biggest challenge we overcame was incorporating central air conditioning into the house, especially with the low ceilings. Let’s take a look.

The master bedroom

Shades of love decorate this beautiful room. A soft pink is painted on the walls, with a gorgeous oil paint artwork. The bed frame is made of wood and the bedhead has soft leather upholstery. The hanging cast iron lamps are stylish and modern.

Another view

The rest of the room has been painted white to highlight the beautiful soft shade of pink. Bordering towards red, this shade is the colour of love and hence, a fitting choice for this elegant bedroom

The TV Wall

The TV unit uses a wooden frame, with a number of open shelves. It has been painted to white to keep up with the minimal, light aesthetic of the home. There are drawers at the bottom for storage as well.

Another angle

From here, we see the position of the TV unit in the living room. We also see that the unit is a part of the structure of the house. The clever use of this structure by the designers has resulted in a piece that is multifunctional, well designed, and becomes a part of the home instead of standing out.

Cosy and comfortable

The hanging brass lamps are a quaint little addition to the décor. Based on the aesthetic requested by the client, these lamps were the perfect source of light for the living room. We also see the beautiful wooden armchair that has been positioned by the TV area.

Décor elements

Another thing of particular note is the décor elements. For example, we have these beautiful round lamps here. They are hanging lamps but offer sufficient lighting to that particular corner. Each element is selected carefully to blend in with the design.

The coffee corner

We love this little space in the corner. It also functions as a dining space. The combination of a seating arrangement and chairs creates a multifunctional space that can be used for dining or just relaxing. The floral painting is a continuation of the artwork in the bedroom.

The children’s room

The children’s room has a fun bunk bed. Unlike other such beds, this was created from scratch to offer maximum safety and storage. The stars leading up to the top bed are not just a ladder, but actual boxes that also function as a storage space for books and toys. The room also has a fun foosball table and a large window for natural light.

The kitchen

The kitchen is another marvellously redecorated room in this house. The space has been completely transformed into a modern, stylish kitchen with new appliances. We have the kitchen island with the sink and burner, which also functions as a dining area. The workspace is behind the kitchen island, creating separate space for preparation, cooking and dining.
