The process of designing your home can be exhilarating and exhausting. You needn’t depend on replicating standard ideas as designers can give wings to your imagination. Consider this lovely home in Bangalore which has been put together by the interior designers and decorators of U and I Designs. Wood has been used in a subtle and understated manner in all parts of the home, and that stands out as the most impressive part of the design.

Attractive entrance

Walking into the home, you can see this simple and stylish wall. The storage racks and shelves have been designed beautifully. Sitting on these shelves are some gorgeous collectables. The spotlights illuminate the textured wall, making it even more attractive.

Spacious room

Looking into the home from this angle, you can see how large and spacious the rooms seem. The long corridor, the stark white walls and the minimalist approach to design make it attractive and pleasing to the eye. The bright white lights also add a certain charm to the place.

Beautiful ceiling

Using two wood panels, the designers have made an enormous difference to a modest ceiling. The false ceiling hides accent lights, which showcase the home in a unique and distinctive light. The dark brown TV unit stands on its own but makes a stunning impression against the white walls and floor.

Wood doorways

Here, the monotony of the white walls has been broken up with a similar wood panel in the ceiling. It has been taken a level further with the use of panels for the entrance to the kitchen, bringing out the beauty and simplicity of the design.

Exceptional lighting

In this image of the fabulous design project, you can see the beauty of the architecture. The large windows and doors reflect the natural beauty outside. Similarly, the designers have accentuated the ambience by using artificial lights throughout the home. The artwork for the walls has been kept to a minimum.

Simple pooja room

A shelf has been dedicated as the puja room of the house. The design combines open and closed areas to give the space a unique identity. Bells hang within small circle cut-outs in the wood, which provides the puja area with a temple-like feel.

Burst of colours

White furniture looks classy, refined and polished in any space. It’s especially true in a child’s room, where it gives a clean and clutter-free look. However, it needs to be contrasted with bolder tones to create a cheerful ambience. The wardrobe features a few open ledges and cubby holes, which have been coated in bright and happy shades.

Vibrant bedroom

The bold accent colour for the wall completes the children’s room. Featuring a multi-hued headboard, the designers have managed to make the room look fun and exciting.
