Notting Hill is known for their elegance, the perfect amalgamation of a regal and modern-day design. Today, we're taking a look at one such residence located in the area that has been beautifully finished. Each of the areas has its own distinctive look making these images perfect to use as a reference if you want to create a compact living space. The ideabook only highlights the common areas and most used rooms of this particular house so make sure you read it till the end.

1. Kitchen

A clean and well-organized kitchen is desired by everyone. Apart from this, incorporating enough amount of storage space is also a critical element. But what do you do when you do not have a large space, that can be transformed into a cooking area. For this, the designers have opted for a straight line counter setting. With the help of this layout, the entire kitchen unit is placed on a single wall. This keeps the other side of the room absolutely free for walking. Besides, to give the kitchen a touch of colour, the cabinets have been painted in a pastel colour.

2. Terrace

The second common area of this house is the newly created terrace. Initially, it was a plain looking space, which did not look too welcoming. The designers started by installing a rustic floor, which is made of old pallet wood. It has been treated for water resistance and termites. Besides, the designers also opted for an overall black theme, which can be seen in the form of the planters, coffee table, as well as the couch.

3. In-house library

The owners of this house requested a family library to be installed. For this, the designer decided to dedicate an entire wall for the bookshelves. These shelves are multifunctional as they can be used for storing books, curious, as well as the entertainment gadget. The colour of the bookshelf has been kept white, so that, it blends beautifully with the rest of the interior. On the other hand, the depth of the structure is not too much.

4. Living room

In this picture, you can see the entire living space of the house. It has a dedicated play and study area for the kids as well. Behind the kid's zone, there is a large multipurpose couch, that is enough to accommodate 4 or 5 people. To make this small room look spacious, the designer has opted for a white interior. Furthermore, the use of LED light fixtures also allows the ceiling to look higher then usual.

5. Stairs to the terrace

Lastly, in this image, you can see the stairs which lead to the terrace. To make the space multifunctional, there is a storage unit incorporated in the area below the staircase. Moreover, to make the staircase look a part of the living space, a glass railing has also been used. This does not interfere with the rest of the interior.
