Based in Rome, Italy, Arlene Gibbs founded Arlene Gibbs Décor in 2012 shortly after completing an internship for one of Italy's top interior/furniture designers. Arlene's design philosophy of stylish simplicity has been strongly influenced by her Caribbean background, living in Italy, and her film career.
She worked for fourteen years in Hollywood as a film executive/producer and a screenwriter. Arlene wrote the novel, The Rebirth Of Mrs. Tracey Higgins and co-wrote, with Elizabeth Hunter, the hit film Jumping The Broom which was released in May 2011.
Arlene was born in New York City, raised in Verona, New Jersey, and is a graduate of Syracuse University.
She is currently working on projects in Anguilla - British West Indies, Rome, and Tuscany.
