The family room has been designed as a haven to relax against the backdrop of the fireplace and features structured yet comfortable sofas and seating. The sofa is upholstered in a warm grey cotton with patterned cushions whilst the armchair is upholstered in a comfortable chenille. Bespoke seating comprising three individual seats that can be connected and made into one sofa has been placed under the window. Upholstered in a terracotta fabric it provides a stunning contrast to the palette yet complements the contemporary artwork and warm rich red hues of the oak panelling.

The boys bedroom is designed in a palette of navy and greys. A single sofa bed in a navy check fabric is placed in the bay area of the room. The bespoke desk is positioned under the window to take advantage of the natural light, with shelves and pigeon hole storage fitted to the wall adjacent to the desk. The joinery has been finished in satin grey lacquer with dark yellow accents to complement the grey. The walls are decorated in a soft, warm grey and complement the timber exposed beams to provide a rustic take on the contemporary scheme of this bedroom.

The rich palette of the home office or study marries well with the bespoke dark timber joinery with lattice leather doors. The light linen-textured laminate desk top with dark oak frame continues the rich theme together with the thick loop area rug with linen border and hide upholstered visitor's chair. As a complete contrast, a chaise in the window area is upholstered in a soft pastel blue with burgundy patterned cushion. The original oak panelling and limestone fireplace surround add depth and authenticity to the scheme to make it a cosy escape from the rest of the home.

The dressing area adjoining the Master bedroom is separated by means of a sheer voile.

The living room or TV Room features a very large L-shaped sofa upholstered in a soft, comfortable wool. An upholstered ottoman has been placed in front of the sofa. It has an inset removable tray for the purpose of carrying mugs and bowls to the kitchen for convenience. A large piece of joinery has been fitted to the wall behind the sofa for book storage at high level.A large mobile wall light is fitted to the wall alongside the window. This lamp with swing arm and yellow metal shade allows task lighting if reading a book on the sofa in the evening. The Hagga Goose eye rug by Kasthall creates a softness underfoot.

The desk space in this girls bedroom is positioned under the window to allow for good lighting as well as wardrobes and book storage on either side of the desk. The joinery is sprayed in a soft lacquer with shaker style doors in a contrasting pastel teal and lavender. A mobile wall light is fitted to the wall for reading and sits picture perfect alongside specially selected framed images.

The elegant guest bedroom has a single bed and fitted headboard with a cotton slip cover made from a delicate floral fabric. The bed is decorated with linen and woollen cushions and finished with a cable knit throw. The wall light above the bed performs the function of a reading light with the bespoke jade linen shade to add contrast against the soft palette. The desk is made out of reclaimed and bleached oak providing a raw yet humble texture. The desk chair with cross back complements the desk in light oak with a linen seat cushion and the fluted glass desk lamp provides task lighting for reading.To marry with the eclectic rustic yet contemporary scheme, a soft cotton patterned Roman blind is fitted within the reveal of the window whilst a natural chunky sisal rug adorns the floor.

The informal living area is considered the secondary TV watching space and features a bespoke L-shaped sofa upholstered in a wool base and chenille seat and back cushions for comfort. Scatter cushions are in deep greens and patterned fabrics that complement the scheme. The bay window seating has also been cushioned comfortably to allow a wonderful seating or reading area with plenty of natural light. The black veined marble table with blackened steel legs and metal and glass side table hint at the contemporary undertone of the space. The Serge Mouille floor lamp is a striking feature of the room.

The guest kitchen has been entirely redesigned to allow for full height storage. The storage was designed with groove detail to the doors at low level and black metal framed glazed storage above for displaying crockery and glassware. The kitchen is fully functional with a hob plate and combination microwave and dishwasher, sink and fridge. The units are finished in a soft pistachio green painted timber with the grain still visible. There is also a bespoke circular dining table in ash wood and waxed linen upholstered breakfast chairs.

The beautiful oversized vintage linen slip covered chairs were designed to fit around the table in this formal family dining room. A large bench seat extends the full width of the window and is made in oak with a rattan back in the style of a church bench to complement the style of the room but also add additional interesting seating to the table. A herringbone wool rug adds a sense of warmth to the room.

The informal dining area features a Frank Hudson Refectory table with wish bone chairs. The light above the table is a rectangular pendant light made in bespoke black metal finish to complement the design detailing of the joinery at the desk and library area so that the interior scheme connects from one space to the other. A goose eye rug beneath the table adds texture to the space.

The master bathroom in rich Walnut and black marble tops and porcelain floor tiles, comprises a 1950s original design dressing table with mirror and grey upholstered dressing table chair. The beautiful light flooding into this bathroom makes it the ideal location to apply makeup.

This guest bedroom features two single beds on either side of the bedroom, flanking the bay window. Linen headboards with a small wing and contrast navy piping are fitted to the wall. Above each headboard is a bronze wall light for reading. The bed linens are a warm grey herringbone fabric and a woollen tweed throw has been included at the bottom of the bed. A bespoke white painted bench with a soft blue goose eye patterned fabric has been placed in front of the window. White adds a fresh and contemporary burst to the scheme. A small mobile desk on castors has been placed in front of the bench for reading or writing notes. The striking rug has a striped design in a tangerine rust and navy and white stripe while the Roman blind offsets the stripe with a stunning rust coloured floral design.

One of the interesting aspects of the informal dining area is the desk and library space comprising the entire length of the hallway. The desk space forms the work area or home office and can be conveniently hidden from view by the large timber sliding doors with contrasting horizontal metal inlay that pocket to behind the library storage. The timber of this large door is in contrast to the soft grey painted veneer of the desk.
